Networking

The CIS Department at Georgia State University may be Atlanta’s best kept secret. There are thousands of alumni who have graduated with a CIS degree (4,000 CIS alumns have registered with the GSU Alumni Association – there are many more who have not registered). Most of these graduates stay in the Atlanta area.

So if networking and contacts is a key element to finding a job and finding qualified employees, the CIS Alumni Club is a gold mine. Register as a CIS Alumni Club member and appear in the CIS Alumni Directory; attend CIS Alumni Club events and meetings; take the opportunity to get to know your CIS/GSU colleagues.
