Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to: 

Objective 1:  

Grant: List and describe the fundamental elements of profit-making organizational strategy

Grant: Enumerate and discuss performance measures that best characterize superior (Ricardian) profitability

Grant: Characterize the most important strategic changes that will have to take place in organizations to respond to the environmental, technological, and social changes that are occurring in the new millennium

Straub: Discuss the concepts of alpha, beta and omega changes in organizational measures of success

Straub: Argue that certain proprietary resources can or cannot grant sustainable competitive advantage

Straub: Explain the stages by which a firm can achieve an e-competitive transformation
