Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:


Objective 1: 

Articulate the strategy of an online firm or the NE part of an established firm

Identify metrics used to determine meeting of strategic goals

Objective 2: 

Discuss differences between an industry focus and an internal firm focus with respect to strategy

Describe the "Resource-based View of the Firm" (RBV)

Relate RBV to the concept of core competencies

List the resources needed to be EC-competitive

Argue the case for how firms can achieve a sustainable competitive advantage, including IT infrastructures
