Abstract

The unprecedented  growth of the Internet, e- commerce and e- business is threatening to make traditional IS development methodologies obsolete. Based on a case study in three Danish e-application developers, it appears that the present notion of methodology is changing. Traditional IS development methodology is eschewed. The core requirements of eMethodology are time pressure and requirements ambiguity, leading to ten demands. In this paper each of the ten demands is described and three eMethodologies are analysed using the demands framework.
